2007 NATS State Fall Audition Results
Congratulations to all of our singers,
collaborative pianists and their teachers!
Many thanks to our hosts, David Little and the Faculty and Staff and “Trolls” at Western Michigan University! Also, my
deepest thanks to our Staff Accompanists, Brian Lewis, Phil Pfaltzgraff, Joseph Daniel and David Gilliland for their
assistance, and to our wonderful volunteer “office staff” of Linda Venable, Maureen Balke and Don Barrow for their
efficient and calming skills in the Tabulation Room.
Comment sheets and Certificates along with Prizes are in the mail.
Western Michigan University has graciously offered to host our Fall State Auditions again for 2008, so mark your
calendars for Saturday 1 November 2008 in Kalamazoo! (…and we will hope that construction projects will be finished!)
Please keep 1 March 2008 on your calendars (as well as Leap Day 29 February 2008!) for our Great Lakes Regional
Auditions which will be held at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. Even if you are not performing that day, please
make plans to attend! This year will see a variety of additions to the day – rather like a mini-convention. There will be a
trade show and various workshops in addition to the Auditions themselves. Come and Network and bring colleagues to
experience the day in the hopes they will become more involved in NATS Activities!
All my best wishes for a busy, relaxing, invigorating, calm and above all HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON!
